The Milton Home in South Bend, IN, is looking for a Dietary Supervisor. As the Dietary Supervisor, you will lead the service team in a skilled nursing/assisted living setting, ensuring that food offered to residents, guests, and employees is of superior quality. You will hire the dietary staff and supervise and train them to include; proper dining settings, seating charts, food presentation, and insuring facility residents enjoy a fine dining experience at every meal. You will be responsible for ordering food and supplies for the department within budgetary compliance. The Dietary Supervisor also maintains excellent relationships with residents and guests, as well as other employees. The Dietary Supervisor will also participate in the nutritional care of the residents, including gathering of objective data for initial, quarterly, and annual assessments, resident interviews for food preferences, and participation in the interdisciplinary care plan meetings.
We prefer eligible candidates to have or be willing to obtain Certified Dietary Manager (CDM) certification.
The candidate should have a comprehensive knowledge of dining service techniques, customer relations, plate presentation, sanitation, and food handling

- Dietary Manager: Two years or greater
